Die Resurface App funktioniert vollständig lokal auf Ihrem Gerät. Ihre Daten verlassen Ihr Gerät nicht.
Wie die App funktioniert
Resurface ist eine lokale App, die Ihre Kindle-Highlights auf Ihrem Gerät speichert und anzeigt. Die App:
- Sendet keine Daten an uns – Es gibt keine Verbindung zwischen der App und unseren Servern. Wir erhalten keinerlei Daten von Ihnen.
- Speichert alle Daten lokal auf Ihrem Gerät – Ihre Highlights verlassen Ihr Gerät nicht durch uns
- Führt kein Tracking durch – Wir sammeln keine Nutzungsdaten, Analysen oder Statistiken
Hinweis: Falls Sie iCloud-Backup aktiviert haben, können App-Daten im Rahmen Ihres regulären Backups von Apple gesichert werden. Dies liegt außerhalb unserer Kontrolle und richtet sich nach Ihren Apple-/iCloud-Einstellungen.
Amazon-Anmeldung
Wenn Sie sich in der App bei Ihrem Amazon-Konto anmelden:
- Die Anmeldung erfolgt direkt zwischen Ihrem Gerät und Amazon
- Ihre Amazon-Zugangsdaten werden nicht an uns übermittelt
- Die Highlights werden von Amazon direkt auf Ihr Gerät importiert
- Nach dem Import verbleiben alle Daten lokal auf Ihrem Gerät
Welche Daten auf Ihrem Gerät gespeichert werden
- Ihre Kindle-Highlights und Notizen
- Buchtitel und Autorennamen
- Ihre Favoriten und App-Einstellungen
Welche Daten wir sammeln
Keine. Wir haben keinen Zugriff auf Ihre Daten. Alles bleibt auf Ihrem Gerät.
Datenlöschung
Da alle Daten lokal gespeichert sind, können Sie diese jederzeit löschen, indem Sie: - Die App deinstallieren, oder - Die App-Daten in den Geräte-Einstellungen löschen
Drittanbieter
Die App nutzt ausschließlich: - Amazon – für die Anmeldung und den Import Ihrer Highlights (direkte Verbindung zwischen Ihrem Gerät und Amazon)

Summary
The Resurface app works entirely locally on your device. Your data never leaves your device.
How the App Works
Resurface is a local app that stores and displays your Kindle highlights on your device. The app:
- Sends no data to us – There is no connection between the app and our servers. We receive no data from you whatsoever.
- Stores all data locally on your device – Your highlights do not leave your device through us
- Does not track you – We collect no usage data, analytics, or statistics
Note: If you have iCloud Backup enabled, app data may be backed up by Apple as part of your regular backup. This is outside our control and depends on your Apple/iCloud settings.
Amazon Login
When you sign in to your Amazon account in the app:
- The login happens directly between your device and Amazon
- Your Amazon credentials are not transmitted to us
- Highlights are imported from Amazon directly to your device
- After import, all data remains locally on your device
Data Stored on Your Device
- Your Kindle highlights and notes
- Book titles and author names
- Your favorites and app settings
Data We Collect
None. We have no access to your data. Everything stays on your device.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally, you can delete it at any time by: - Uninstalling the app, or - Deleting the app data in your device settings
Third Parties
The app only uses: - Amazon – for login and importing your highlights (direct connection between your device and Amazon)
